Briana B Volk is a creative director whose experience includes The Via Agency, Wieden+Kennedy, North, Hal Riney, AnomalyNYC, Frank Creative, Viacom, and Red Square Agency. She has worked on a variety of clients ranging from Nike, Macaroni Grill, EA Sports, Coca-Cola, Klondike, Breyers, Samsung, City of Portland (Oregon), Hard Rock, Portland's Downtown (Maine), Blue Cross, New England Distilling, The Portland Hunt + Alpine Club, and Converse.
She writes and directs short films/music videos. This work has shown in film festivals around the world.
With her husband Andrew, she owns the Portland Hunt + Alpine Club, a craft cocktail bar that was a James Beard semi-finalist for "Outstanding Bar Program." She is the founder of the New England Cocktail Conference, an annual cocktail conference in Portland, ME celebrating bartenders, bars and spirits.
In 2015 she was named one of the "50 Most Influential Mainers" by Maine Magazine. She has spoken at multiple conferences including Bar Institute, Maine Start Up & Create Week, Ignite Portland, Pecha Kucha, and was a featured speaker at Maine Live.
Briana is on the board of Creative Portland and the founding Vice President of the Maine Chapter of the United States Bartenders Guild.
She drinks Old Fashioneds made with Gunpowder Rye, she has a tattoo in Century Gothic, and Debbie Harry once compared Briana to Joey Ramone. She can find a cool bar in any town she's in, without her iPhone.
